EDU510 Final Project

For this class, the cognitive science of teaching and learning, I explored the mental representations of logic, rules, concepts, analogies and images in how they can affect the teaching and learning processes. For my project, I see how each mental representation interacts with, and is enhanced by, some of the principles outlined in David Perkins’ Making Learning Whole: How Seven Principles of Teaching can Transform Education, which focuses on a holistic pedagogy of introducing learning to students. Finally, I give a reflection of what I took away from the class as well as what I hope to implement in the future within my educational context.
